Every time I ride on Linear Park, I reminisce bike rides with Pedro and my sister during my university days. Pedro and I kept on riding this bike trail even after my sister stopped doing so. We would try beat our time every time. The best from my parents place to the corner of North Terrace and Frome Road was 22 minutes.
This ride with the children was to remind them of Pedro. It was also a platform to illustrate our past. There was the church their Pop and Nanna were married in. The school their daddy attended.
We also had commentary on the changing landscape, stories from our past and chats about our future.
