Surrey Hills to Teardrop

Blackburn Cycling Club winter junior development was held at the Teardrop, Yarra Boulevard. As it was such as lovely day...compared to last week, we decided to cycle there.

We came across the old Kew Asylum. The walls are called ha-ha walls which offered the patients a view of the outside world without feeling fenced in.

On the way, we had ice-cream in the sun at Studley Boathouse. What a change from last week's hail!

I even joined in the club activities. I was beat! The children were amazing. They had so much stamina. Near the summit, there is an obelisk commemorating Charles Grimes Expedition.

We returned to Studley Park Boathouse to have some hot chips. The chips were devoured in seconds!

The ride home was tough. Thomas and I were super tired. We took it quite slowly.
