Packing List for Camping Trip 2+2

Backpacking for me was a distant memory. I packed only for me. I only packed what I could carry. This was my method:

• Wrote a list (over a few weeks)
• Piled everything that was on the list on one side (over a few weeks)
• Went through that pile and put away "nice to have but not necessary" (over a few weeks)
• Packed the bags. One travel pack and the other a day bag. 
• Review contents (keep/put away)
• Final pack

Even then, I didn't use everything that I packed! Those items I had forgotten/put aside and needed, I brought them when I arrived.

Now, married with two in tow, my preference is to recycle the same method.

I have divided the packing into rooms. No doubt this list will be revised again and again as we gain further camping experience under our belt. I find reading as well as tried and tested advise from other fellow campers invaluable.
