Tasmania :: Day 10 Huon Bush Retreat :: Will Smiths and Frank's Cider

We visited an apple cider producer, Willie Smiths. The food here was simply scrumptious. The service needed some work as they didn’t seem to want to be here at all. They had a display of different types of apples and it was amazing.  One type of apple was called, Sweet Man!

Frank’s Cider in Franklin was delicious too. Thomas played the piano that was there.

We stumbled upon Huon Aqua salmon farm. We had smoked salmon that we bought from here with our dinner. It was delicious. Since coming home, I stumbled on this video and it made me want to boycott Tassals. I think one of the worse fact was that most of the companies feed the fish that they supply with colour so it changes the colour of the flesh. The reason for this is to make the fish more attractive for the consumers.

The children fooled around at the beach near Dover. It was so beautiful and we were pretty much the only ones here. The children were so happy here.

That evening, we had a bath in the outdoor bath. It was surrounded by vegetation. The air was cold but the water was so hot. The children and I got out first and we left Kim to have his own bath. The children and I then bundled into one tent. I told them the story of a cow called Moo Face, and a snake called Hiss Face. These unlikely friends went camping together in Tasmania and had a mischievous adventure on their magic carpet.
